Seller Agreement.

Last updated 12 July 2026

This agreement is between LimeLight Marketplace Ltd. ("LimeLight") and you as a seller. It sits alongside our Terms of Use and explains how selling on LimeLight works. By opening a shop, you agree to it.

Your shop

Your shop is yours to run. You choose what to list, set your own prices in your local currency, manage your stock, and speak with buyers directly over WhatsApp. Buyers order through your LimeLight storefront and you fulfil those orders yourself. You are the merchant of record for everything you sell. LimeLight provides the storefront, discovery, and tools — we do not own or resell your goods. New shops are reviewed before they appear in search, categories and the shop directory; you can keep setting up while you wait, and everything you have added goes live once we approve you.

No commission — you pay for your plan

LimeLight does not take a cut of your sales. Instead, sellers choose a subscription plan. The Starter plan is free and allows up to ten listings (products or services). The Spotlight plan is TT$199 per month or TT$1,999 per year, and adds unlimited listings, homepage features, full analytics, reports and the ability to reply to reviews. During our founding offer, full Spotlight is free for every shop until 31 December 2026; after that date a shop stays on Spotlight only if it subscribes, and otherwise returns to Starter. Subscription payments are made by bank transfer and activated once we confirm receipt. Plan features and pricing may change; we will give notice of material changes.

Payments are collected by you, directly

You collect payment for your orders directly from buyers — usually by bank transfer to your own account (for example Republic Bank or First Citizens) or another method you offer. Your bank details are never shown publicly: they are revealed only to a buyer with an active order, and only while you have chosen to share them. LimeLight never holds, processes, or releases your sales money, and does not guarantee that a buyer will pay. Buyers upload proof of transfer and you confirm receipt in your dashboard — it is your responsibility to check that the money has actually landed before dispatching, and to keep your own records. Orders with no proof of payment after 72 hours cancel automatically and return the stock to your shelf.

Fulfilment and customer service

You are responsible for fulfilling confirmed orders and bookings accurately and on time, for setting your own delivery zone prices and honouring them, for quoting services fairly, and for handling questions, returns, and complaints from your buyers. Describe your items honestly, keep your listings and stock up to date, and respond to buyers promptly.

Your legal responsibilities

You are responsible for operating within the law. This includes any business registration, VAT or other taxes, product safety and labelling rules, and licences that apply to what you sell in Trinidad & Tobago or wherever you ship. You must have the right to sell every item you list and must not list prohibited or counterfeit goods.

Reviews

Buyers may review your shop and products. You may reply to reviews on the Spotlight plan, and you may report a review you believe is fake, abusive, or in breach of our rules. You must not post your own reviews, pay for reviews, or pressure buyers to change honest feedback.

Suspension and closing your shop

You can close your shop at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or remove a shop or listing that breaks this agreement, our Terms of Use, or the law, or that risks harm to buyers or the platform. Where reasonable, we will let you know and give you a chance to put things right.

Relationship between us

You are an independent seller, not an employee, agent, or partner of LimeLight. Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership or joint venture. You are responsible for your own business decisions and obligations.

Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement as LimeLight develops. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, give sellers reasonable notice. Continuing to sell after a change means you accept the updated agreement.
